L.A. Noire

The debut title of All Possible Futures, The Plucky Squire! This Zelda-inspired game introduces us to Jot, a storybook character who discovers a 3D child’s bedroom world beyond the pages of his book. The game’s mix of 2D and 3D gameplay, along with its humorous approach to breaking the narrative fourth wall, has drawn comparisons to the beloved Paper Mario series. What’s more, the studio was co-founded by James Turner, known for his work as an art director at Game Freak and his contributions to the Pokémon series, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game’s release.

All Possible Futures has truly nailed the storybook aesthetics, seamlessly integrating them into the gameplay. The experience is packed with personality and even imparts some valuable life lessons. The puzzles are delightfully challenging, requiring creative thinking, but fear not – mini-wizards in each section are on hand to offer helpful advice.
