Tarot, Death & Sacrifice Galore In The Latest Agatha All Along Episode

The seventh episode of Marvel’s Agatha All Along is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia. I’ll be discussing heavy spoilers so if you haven’t seen it or want to avoid spoilers, now’s your chance to stop reading.

The synopsis reads:

In “Agatha All Along,” the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…

In addition to Kathryn Hahn, “Agatha All Along” stars Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, with Debra Jo Rupp, with Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza. The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos and Jac Schaeffer. The directors for the series include Jac Schaeffer, Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Montiero.

Agatha & Billy Get New Costumes In This New Area Of The Witches’ Road

Agatha is the Wicked Witch Of The West from The Wizard Of Oz.

Billy is Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.

Both Lilia And Jennifer Are Still Alive

Both Lilia and Jennifer are still alive, but they’re underground somewhere.

But they’re soon mysteriously teleported and reunited with Agatha and Lilia.

Lilia also confirms what we suspected from the previous episode, that she was the one who put the sigil on Billy in the first place in order to protect him.

Rio Vidal Is Death

It’s revealed that Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal is actually Death.

In Marvel comics, Death is not just a concept, it’s an abstract being or entity based on the personification of death.

As an abstract entity, she’s extremely powerful and pretty much immortal. In the comics, Death is best known for being the subject of Thanos’ love, and the reason for his wanting to get the Infinity Gems in the original Infinity Gauntlet storyline. He wiped half the universe to impress Death (while in the MCU, it was for ‘balance’).

Lilia Sacrifices Herself To Let The Others Escape

Lilia sacrifices herself by staying behind to stall the Salem’s Seven and let the rest escape.

So, the only ones left are Agatha, Billy and Jennifer.

Only two episodes are left in Agatha All Along Season 1.
