Digimon Adventure Anime to Release Special 25th Anniversary Music Video

Toei Animation has unveiled exciting news at New York Comic Con 2024: a special music video titled Digimon Adventure –Beyond– is set to debut next year as part of the grand 25th Anniversary celebrations at Digimon Con.

This music video will follow the beloved first generation of DigiDestined as they transition into adulthood, featuring stunning new animation and set to the iconic theme “brave heart.” Alongside this announcement, the studio released captivating visuals, including adult character designs for Taichi and Yamato, beautifully crafted by Rie Nishimura, who previously served as chief animation director on Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning.

Leading the project is Hiroyuki Kakudo, the original director behind the classic Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02 series. He has personally drawn the key visual for the music video, ensuring a sense of nostalgia and continuity for long-time fans.

The initial announcement for Digimon Adventure –Beyond– was made in May 2024, featuring a charming promotional image of the seven chosen children depicted in phone booths, illustrated in a playful sketch style.

The Digimon Adventure –Beyond– music PV is set to premiere during Digimon Con 2025, scheduled for March of the same year. This promises to be a heartfelt tribute to a legacy cherished by millions across the globe.
