Granblue Fantasy Versus Adds Cheery Rat Girl Vikala This October

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising’s final Season 1 Battle Pass character will be out later this October.

The next addition in the anime fighting game from Arc System Works and Cygames is Vikala, a pretty major character in the Granblue Fantasy franchise and its lore.

“One of the Twelve Divine Generals and Guardian of the North. Her “yang” side is determined to bring hope, dreams, and wonderment to the world. Her “yin” side wants nothing more than to hide away from it. Caught between two extremes, the divine rat pins her hopes on the wide-open skies and chooses to trust in her new friends.”

Her “yin” version was released as a cheerleader in the game’s debut late last year. This is the first time her “yang” side is playable and is part of the game’s roster. Based on the gameplay below, she prioritizes keeping her opponents away with her plethora of magic, gadgets, and traps. Her Super Skybound Arts has her performing in a concert setting while her opponent is caught in a gilded mousetrap.

Vikala will be playable on 25th October via DLC and the Season 1 Battle Pass of the game; the game is out for PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Season 2 Battle Pass will be starting on Winter 2025, and will have Sandalphon as a playable character.
