Ghostface Jumpscares His Way Into Mortal Kombat 1 Next Month

NetherRealm has announced that the iconic horror slasher killer Ghostface from the Scream franchise will launch on 19 November 2024 for Kombat Pack 2 and/or Khaos Reigns expansion owners and on 26 November 2024 for all players.

It would have been even more appropriate if he had been available to play just in time for Halloween on 31 October 2024, but at least we get a creepy new teaser for the character. As a horror fan, it’s nice to see all these legendary horror characters getting featured in games like this.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available now for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2 contains CyraxSektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface from Scream, T-1000 from the Terminator series, and Conan the Barbarian.

In the meantime, head on over here for our review of 2022’s Scream.
