In This Upcoming Nintendo Switch Fighting Game, You Shake Your Butt To Win
No, we’re not making an ass out of you with our headline: there is an upcoming game where you have to shake & thrust your moneymaker to win a fight.
Game company Kayac and manga comic publication group CoroCoro Comic (via Shogakukan) will be collaborating to make a one-on-one fighting game called Ketsu Battler for the Nintendo Switch. The kicker to this fighting game is that you control your character using your posterior instead of holding the controller in your hand. Let’s get to the end of things:
How did this ingenious game plan came to be? Well, it’s from a creator named Tomozo P and he won a special prize in a Corogame contest for his prototype of the backside-shaking game “a while ago”. And after showing the game to the developers of Kayac, the team agreed quickly to make it a full-fledged title.
He also told readers to “keep [our] butts warm” while it’s in production. See, dreams do come true.
Hygiene issues notwithstanding and this being posted now instead of 1st April, one can assume that this is going to come out. I will predict that this title may be a hit with the livestreaming crowd just because of the many ways you can use the controller, and I don’t mean with just putting it close to your butt on your waistband. I’ll leave it to you to imagine the endless possibilities.
Ketsu Battler will be shaking its metaphorical behind for the public on 12th December in Japan first via Nintendo eShop. An English version has yet to be announced. You can also follow the official Twitter/X account while you’re keeping your butts warm.
