Fans of the Pathologic series have something new to look forward to, as Ice-Pick Lodge and publisher HypeTrain Digital have officially announced Pathologic 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam), set to release in 2025. The upcoming sequel promises to build upon the series’ survival horror roots while introducing fresh gameplay elements that should appeal to both veterans and newcomers.

In Pathologic 3, players will once again be plunged into a remote, plague-ridden town, but this time, they’ll play as The Bachelor, a city doctor known for his battle against death. Invited by the now-deceased Isidor Burakh, The Bachelor must unravel the town’s deadly mystery while confronting not only the disease but also the concept of death itself.

The game introduces a significant new feature: time travel. This mechanic allows players to revisit key moments and alter events, giving them more control over the 12-day race to save the town. The stakes are higher than ever as each decision shapes the narrative in unexpected ways.
