Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate PC Version Gets A Release Date

Super Evil Megacorp has confirmed the release date for the much-anticipated action roguelike, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, set to port for PC. Previously announced in July with a release window, fans can now mark their calendars for 6 November 2024.

Initially exclusive to Apple Arcade, the game’s transition to PC has presented an exciting opportunity for the developers to enhance the overall experience. “The shift to PC has allowed us to refine and elevate numerous aspects of the game,” says Developer Daniel Stansens. The team has introduced platform-specific features, including customizable key bindings, adjustable resolution settings, and various control input options, to create a tailored gaming experience.

In addition, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is officially Steam Deck Verified, ensuring players can enjoy the game whether they are at their desk or on the move.

Understanding the unique expectations of PC gamers was at the forefront of the development process. Product Manager Tom Westall emphasizes, “We conducted extensive research to identify what PC players value most, allowing us to prioritize key features accordingly. Enhancing graphics and gameplay was essential to match the high standards expected from a title featuring the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

One of the standout improvements is the revamped co-op experience. With the addition of online matchmaking and cross-play capabilities, teaming up with friends has never been easier. “Playing as a team of four Turtles is when the game truly shines,” Tom explains. “The online matchmaking feature allows players to quickly link up with others across platforms, opening the door for even more players to enjoy the 4-player co-op experience.”

In TMNT Splintered Fate, players are in for an exhilarating, fast-paced roguelike adventure where each run offers unique challenges. With randomized power-ups, varied room layouts, and dynamic boss modifiers, the excitement never wanes. Take control of all four Turtles, each equipped with distinctive abilities, and join forces with friends for an unforgettable co-op experience. Explore iconic locations throughout New York City, upgrade your Turtle powers, and get ready to confront formidable foes.

For those who can’t wait, a demo is available on Steam. Alternatively, the game is available for Nintendo Switch.
