This Upcoming Indonesian-Made Isometric Adventure Uses The Power Of Dance To Win Fights
By Jonathan Toyad|October 10, 2024|0 Comment
Most action games you see resolve eventual conflicts with violence and direct combat. But what if you could save the world without hurting anybody but instead dance around it?
That’s what Mentari, an upcoming Indonesian-made indie game from StellarNull and Indie.io is about. Mentari is an action-adventure title where players must heal a world frozen by the affliction known as the Stillness using the power of dance. Title character Mentari is a young dancer who knows a few dances, but gets more over time with the game allowing you to make your own choreography. You fight using dance moves to bring people out of Stillness, and then dodge rejection attacks to stay alive.
The game’s action-adventure perspective is isometric, and might have vibes of an action RPG, only with dance moves and spinning around instead of using weapons to get the job done. Mentari has no release date, but it is coming out for PC.
