Publisher and developer Quorum Games has unveiled an exciting new title, Call of Elyndra, which seamlessly merges the charm of a cozy farming simulation with the thrill of a retro action RPG.
At the heart of Call of Elyndra lies a compelling narrative where you become an integral member of a vibrant community on the brink of war. Teaming up with two fellow Dreamers, you will explore diverse landscapes, fend off invasions, and reveal the mysteries that envelop your world. While your journey starts modestly, you will grow and evolve alongside your companions and the community you serve.
The game invites you to immerse yourself in its cozy elements, allowing you to nurture your own farm, forge friendships with locals, go fishing, and engage in various other activities. You’ll be given a plot of land to cultivate crops and raise animals that will contribute to the sustenance of Elyndra’s inhabitants. This flexibility means you can approach the game as you wish—choose to balance both farming and adventure or specialize in one at a time.
Call of Elyndra draws inspiration from classic titles like the beloved Legend of Zelda series and Stardew Valley, while crafting its unique style and identity. It empowers players to determine how to navigate the enchanting world of Elyndra and take on the evil forces threatening its peace.
Engage in real-time combat against over 70 types of enemies within richly designed dungeons. Customize your combat style with powerful artifacts and tailored abilities, ensuring that your fighting technique reflects your personal preferences. Embark on quests and tackle classic top-down dungeon puzzles to unlock the rich, forgotten lore of these lands—revealing that there’s much more than meets the eye.
Along your journey, you’ll form bonds and face challenges alongside two intriguing characters, Ariadne and Kaelan—fellow wanderers drawn to Elyndra by the same dreams that brought you here. Witness their development as they evolve into skilled combatants and invaluable farmhands, making your adventure even more meaningful.
Elyndra is just the beginning. Venture into lush forests, treacherous snowy peaks, and murky marshlands, each home to different tribes with their own distinct identities, aspirations, and dilemmas. It will be your mission to support these communities in their habitats, adding depth to your quest.
Breaking the mold of typical farming games, Call of Elyndra boasts an expansive storyline that emphasizes community integration, tackling significant and minor challenges, and participating in the fight against an unjust war. There are countless secrets waiting to be unearthed.
Call of Elyndra is set to launch on PC via Steam, though a specific release date has yet to be announced. Players looking for a sneak peek can try out the demo available on 2 December 2024.
Don’t miss the chance to be among the first to experience this enchanting blend of farming and adventure!
