Devolver Digital Pushes Three Titles To 2025

Devolver Digital has announced that three of its highly anticipated games—Baby Steps, Stick It To The Stickman, and Skate Story—won’t be arriving until 2025. Originally planned for release this year, the publisher delivered the news with its trademark humour during The 15th Annual Devolver Delayed Awards 2024.

This isn’t the first delay for Stick It To The Stickman and Skate Story. Both games were initially slated for 2023 but were pushed to 2024 during last year’s tongue-in-cheek Devolver Delayed Showcase.

Here’s a quick look at what to expect when these games finally launch:

  • Stick It To The Stickman: A chaotic roguelike brawler where players unleash staple guns, chainsaws, and yes, even weaponised flatulence, in fast-paced, physics-driven combat fuelled by copious amounts of coffee.
  • Skate Story: A stylish, surreal skating journey through the Underworld, where ollies and kickflips become tools for battling demons and liberating lost souls. Start as a fragile skater and grind your way to gritty resilience.
  • Baby Steps: A hilariously unconventional walking simulator starring Nate, a self-proclaimed failure who discovers a surprising skill—literally learning to put one foot in front of the other.

While the wait might feel like a grind, Devolver’s knack for delivering weird and wonderful gaming experiences ensures these delays might just be worth the patience
