Indonesian Indie Beat-Em-Up Acts of Blood Has Hit New Wishlist Milestone
If you ever wonder what would happen if an Indonesian game studio combined hit action movie The Raid with hit action game Sifu, wonder no more.
That wombo combo dream game exists, and it’s currently being made by Eksil Team. The game? Acts of Blood. It’s a beat-em-up and 3D action game where you fight your way through gangs and ne’er-do-wells in a dystopian city of Bandung, Indonesia.
And so far, it’s doing great reception-wise; at least the demo is since it’s still a work-in-progress. Lead developer Fajrul Falakh has revealed on Twitter that Acts of Blood has hit 50,000+ wishlists on Steam, 2 weeks after the demo was released.
Acts of Blood just hit 50K+ wishlists on Steam! ??
In just 6 months since the game was announced and 2 weeks after the demo was released. Thank you all for the amazing support—we still can't believe it ?.

Big thanks also to our talented crew for their outstanding work ? pic.twitter.com/plDO3GdjRj— Fajrul FN – Eksil Team (@Fajrul97) November 15, 2024
I played the demo recently, and so far it’s a blast. It may be a tad rough especially with the demo’s boss fight, but that’s nothing a bit of QA and dodge controls tightening-up cannot fix over the course of time. Everything from the mood to graphics to even the attacks and moves feel good and gritty so far. Also, I would highly suggest putting the voiceover to Bahasa Indon (plus English subtitles) for authenticity’s sake.
You can play the demo of Acts of Blood right now (via Steam). The game has no release date as of yet.
