Minecraft unlocks Oceanic Wonders with Moana 2 DLC, Out Now

Minecraft has partnered with Disney to launch the Moana 2 DLC, immersing players in the enchanting world of the beloved film. This downloadable content (DLC) introduces a host of familiar characters, stunning locations, and exciting new experiences designed for those who crave oceanic adventures and bold explorations within Mojang’s iconic sandbox game.

The Moana 2 DLC places significant emphasis on sailing and exploration, making ships a key element of gameplay. Players will encounter challenging mobs as they journey through uncharted waters and discover new islands. Each structure within the game has been meticulously crafted to mirror the vibrant visuals from the movie, enhancing the overall experience.

Fans of the film will be excited to meet both new characters and familiar faces. Highlights include Moana’s spirited little sister, Simea; the quirky Hei Hei; and Tamatoa, the fearsome giant crab who served as the film’s antagonist. And not to forget, Moana and Maui.

Players can also embark on thrilling adventures throughout different areas, such as uncovering secrets in Wayfinder’s Cavern, battling the mischievous Kakamora pirates, and exploring the monstrous kingdom of Lalotai—home to the search for Maui’s book.

To add a personal touch, players can customize their Minecraft character with a new Flower Crown cosmetic item, available for free for a limited time in the Dressing Room.

The Moana 2 DLC is currently available for 1500 Minecoins or $8.99. Don’t miss out—check out the announcement trailer for a glimpse into this exciting new addition!
