Oshi No Ko Reveals First Music Video for its Live-Action Series

Oshi No Ko fans are in for an exciting treat! The highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the beloved manga “Oshi No Ko” has just unveiled its first original music video, featuring B-Komachi’s original song, Twilight.
This music video was released in celebration of “Good Oshi (Favorite Member) Day” and introduces the first group photo of B-Komachi, showcasing the talented live-action cast members. Former Love idol group member Nagisa Saito takes on the role of Ruby, while Nanoka Hara portrays Kana Arima, and Ano plays the character Mem-cho.
The song was composed by the renowned Vocaloid producer SEE, and the music video was directed by series co-director Hana Matsumoto. In a clever nod to the narrative, the music video is credited to Anemone Monemone, a friend of Mem-cho who freelances as a music video director.
The live-action series is set to feature eight episodes, exclusively launching on Amazon Prime Video on 28 November 2024. Following this, a feature film that continues the series’ storyline will premiere in Japan on 20 December 2024, distributed by Toei.
Created by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, the original manga debuted in 2020 and has since garnered immense popularity, leading to the release of an anime series in 2023. The anime series’ theme song, titled “Idol,” achieved remarkable success by becoming the first Japanese-language song to climb to the top of the Billboard global chart.
