Second LEGO Set Leaks for Horizon Franchise
By Ali'sha Harris|November 18, 2024|0 Comment
A new Lego set inspired by the Horizon franchise has recently been leaked, generating excitement among fans of both LEGO and the popular video game series.
This upcoming set is reported to include key characters Aloy and Varl, along with machines such as a Shellwalker and a Saw-Tooth. According to the leak, the 768-piece set is set to retail for $44.99 and is expected to be available in March 2025.
The information comes from the Instagram account Brickreporter, known for its reliable insights on forthcoming Lego releases. The pictures only show Aloy and glimpses of the machines, with the former appearing to have a different face compared to the first Lego set.
Currently, Lego has one existing set based on the Horizon franchise: the LEGO Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck, which debuted in May 2022 for $79.99 and has since been retired.
LEGO’s interest in the Horizon franchise indicates a recognition of the potential within the IP’s distinctive designs. With a variety of machines and characters to explore, it’s easy to see how the company could create a series of sets that would likely be met with great enthusiasm from fans.
While this leak reveals one upcoming set, it’s uncertain if more Lego Horizon-themed products are on the horizon. Given the recent release of LEGO Horizon Adventures for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, additional sets may be anticipated to be released in the coming months.
LEGO Horizon Adventures, developed by Guerrilla Games in collaboration with Studio Gobo, promises a fun-filled and whimsical narrative that draws inspiration from the rich lore of the Horizon universe. For those eager to learn more, be sure to check out our in-depth review of the game!
