A Fan Recreated This Iconic Video Game Mecha Using LEGO

It’s a testament to the creativity of LEGO that you can create essentially anything you put your mind to, and that’s exactly what this fan did using an existing LEGO Millennium Falcon set.
What did he turn that LEGO Millennium Falcon into?
A freaking Metal Gear Rex from Konami’s Metal Gear Solid franchise (via Facebook).
For those unfamiliar, Metal Gear are the mecha in the Metal Gear franchise. They are a bipedal, nuclear weapons-equipped tank. The Metal Gears are typically autonomous nuclear launch platforms which the player must destroy to save the world and complete the game.
One of the most iconic Metal Gear mechas is the Metal Gear Rex, which first appeared in 1998’s Metal Gear Solid. It also later appeared in subsequent games in the franchise as well.
This just goes to show that Konami should really officially partner with LEGO for some official LEGO Metal Gear products, which would be awesome for fans of the franchise.
