Honkai Star Rail 3.0 The Herta Guide

Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update is up, and it features a brand new Trailblazer storyline that takes place on a Greek-influenced planet called Amphoreus, with its own brand of puzzles & dungeons.

It also features a new gacha character: The Herta. The creator of the Herta models and dolls in the Simulated Universe, she is a space witch who is using Ice Elemental and follows the path of Erudition, which means damage to each and every enemy on-screen with her skills and Ultimates.

Overview

The Herta is an Erudition DPS character who synergizes well with other Erudition characters. She is very useful for general and endgame content due to her target-all DPS skills and space magic.

Her signature Light Cone, Into The Unreachable Veil, is pretty nifty as it provides a lot of Skill DMG Bonus and restores Skill Points if The Herta uses an Ultimate.

Best Light Cone: Into The Unreachable Veil

Best Relics & Ornament: Scholar Lost in Erudition, Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm

The Herta needs a Light Cone and relics that help boost her Critical DPS with Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage stats. As such, Scholar Lost in Erudition is a good addition as it adds Skill Damage bonus if you use her Ultimate. The Izumo Gensei helps buff The Herta’s Critical Rate as long as she is paired up with another Erudition unit. Speaking of which…

Best Team

The Herta + Erudition Focus: The Herta, Jade, Robin, Lingsha

The Herta F2P: The Herta, Herta, Trailblazer (Ice), Lynx

If you have money and spent a bit on past gacha characters, you should pair The Herta with Jade, with Robin and Lingsha as support. The Herta and Jade can do multiple follow-up attacks to clear the screen while Robin and Lingsha can buff and heal everyone.

If you rather go free-to-play, you can pair The Herta with either Herta (the doll) or Serval. Trailblazer (Ice) can support and buff the team with their Mem, while Lynx provides healing.
