Junji Ito’s Dead By Daylight Collection Now Haunting The Fog

The wait is over—Dead by Daylight’s eerie collaboration with legendary horror manga artist Junji Ito has officially arrived, delivering a spine-chilling way to start the new year. Released yesterday, on 7 January, the highly anticipated Junji Ito Collection is now available across all platforms.

Iconic Horror Meets The Fog

Ito, celebrated for his grotesque and surreal storytelling, has shaped the nightmares of manga readers for decades. Now, his haunting vision enters the realm of Dead by Daylight with the highly anticipated Junji Ito Collection, featuring two Legendary Outfits and six Very Rare Outfits inspired by his most iconic works.

  • Miss Fuchi (The Artist) channels the unsettling menace from Fashion Model and Rumors, complete with her elongated neck and eerie grin.
  • Tomie (The Spirit) transforms into the horrifying femme fatale with her infamous second face, sure to leave players rattled.

These Legendary Outfits come with new audio, adding another layer of terror to the experience.

A Haunting Ensemble

Beyond these highlights, other beloved characters step into the darkness with Ito-inspired skins:

  • The Twins (Hikizuris’ Dark Past)
  • The Trickster (Soichi’s Party Clothes)
  • The Dredge (Half Spirits’ Torments)
  • Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson don Very Rare Outfits inspired by Tomie, The Hanging Balloons, and Marionette Mansion.

Each Outfit translates Ito’s twisted imagination into the game, creating an immersive experience for both seasoned fans and newcomers to his work.

Silent Fears Resurface

This release also sparks bittersweet memories of what might have been: Ito’s potential collaboration on Silent Hills, the cancelled project from Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro. While that dream project remains a “what if,” this collection gives horror fans a glimpse of Ito’s nightmares in motion.

With Silent Hill already part of Dead by Daylight, this collaboration cements the game as a hub for horror’s greatest icons.

Step into the Fog

The Junji Ito Collection is now live in Dead by Daylight. Whether you’re a seasoned Fog-dweller or a newcomer braving its horrors for the first time, this collaboration is guaranteed to leave an indelible mark.
