By Alleef AshaariVerified|January 24, 2025|1 Comment
During the Xbox Developer Direct January 2025 live stream, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced that Ninja Gaiden 2 Black (surprise) launches today on Xbox Series X/S, PC and Xbox Game Pass.
Using Unreal Engine 5 to significantly enhance graphic expression, this is the definitive version of Ninja Gaiden 2, featuring additional playable characters and enhanced battle support functions. Ninja Gaiden 2 was originally released for the Xbox 360 back in 2008.
In other related news, they also announced Ninja Gaiden 4, the first new mainline entry in the franchise in more than a decade (full story here).
