The Devil May Cry Anime Rolls In With A Definitive Release Date
By Alleef AshaariVerified|January 30, 2025|0 Comment
Netflix has announced that the upcoming Devil May Cry anime will premiere on 3 April 2025.
It is being developed by Capcom, Adi Shankar, and Studio Mir. This will actually be the second anime based on the franchise after 2007’s Devil May Cry The Animated Series. The intro video below is played to the track of 2000s nu-metal band Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin (Air Raid Vehicle)”.
Showrunner Adi Shankar said that the anime will take place in the 2000s, meaning the soundtrack will consist of contemporary music of that time. So if you’re into bands like Staind, Powerman 5000, and Linkin Park, the DMC show’s OST might have solid bangers to kill demons to.

In my DMC Universe each season will have a different feel to emulate the way each game has a different feel. That means a different theme song each season and a completely different title design each season.

Johnny Yong Bosch (who voices Nero in the games) will voice Dante in the new anime. Previously, Devil May Cry’s original voice actor was Reuben Langdon, but some controversy with the actor got in the way; specifically his right-wing views.
