Wario Land 4 Crashes the Switch Online Party This Valentine’s

Nothing says romance like treasure hunting and face-planting into enemies for power-ups—so naturally, Wario Land 4 is storming onto the Switch Online GBA library on 14 February.
Wario's back for more… and more… and MORE in Wario Land 4, coming to #NintendoSwitch for #NintendoSwitchOnline + Expansion Pack members on 2/14! #GameBoyAdvance pic.twitter.com/TS7WkfHJJY

Originally released in 2001, this fan-favourite platformer sees Wario doing what he does best: breaking into ancient ruins in search of loot. This time, he’s ransacking the Golden Pyramid, only to realise that the place is a death trap run by the sinister Golden Diva. So, in true Wario fashion, he has to smash, dash, and (occasionally) set himself on fire to escape.
Unlike previous Wario Land games, where our greedy antihero was practically invincible, Wario Land 4 introduces a health bar. That means you can’t just mindlessly bulldoze through enemies—though you can still take strategic hits to absorb their abilities because Wario has no regard for personal safety when it comes to profit.
So, if your Valentine’s Day plans involve Wario belly-flopping his way through ancient ruins, congratulations—you’ve got your priorities straight.
