Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Finale Debuts Classic Suit & Explosive Ending
By Alleef Ashaari|February 19, 2025|0 Comment
The final episodes (Episodes 9 and 10) of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 are now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.
The talented voice cast includes Hudson Thames, Colman Domingo, Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Zeno Robinson, Hugh Dancy and Charlie Cox. The head writer is Jeff Trammell and Mel Zwyer is the supervising director. Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt and Trammell serve as executive producers.
In the meantime, check out my full review of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 here.
Check out my breakdown of the first two episodes of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Episodes 3, 4 and 5 and Episodes 6, 7 and 8 here.
Here’s my breakdown of the latest episodes:
The die is cast!
Finally, this is one of the best Spider-Man costume adaptations!
On another note, Mac Gargan also gets his mask.
He helps Spider-Man fight the Scorpion.
In the comics, Nico’s powers come from the Staff of One, an ancient magical staff that can cast any spell imaginable. When not in use the Staff retreats into her body. To summon the Staff, Nico sheds blood and automatically recites “When blood is shed, let the Staff of One emerge.”
However, this version of Nico Minoru might have her powers via this necklace instead, or it might just be another form of the Staff Of One.
And he did just that by previously having access to Spider-Man’s blood when he was almost killed by the Scorpion.
So that he can harvest resources from space.
This is the Doctor Stephen Strange of this Earth.
It turns out that the fight in the first episode was actually him from the future.
It came from the wormhole.
The spider that bit him is the same spider that Norman Osborn recreated.
A bootstrap paradox is a paradox of time travel that occurs when any event, such as an action, information, an object, or a person, ultimately causes itself, as a consequence of either retrocausality or time travel.
That means someone is eventually going to become the host.
That means that this is a moment of great significance.
The birth of a new hero.
Uh oh.
Max Dillon is the name of Electro.
Tiberius Stone would later form Alchemax, an evil corporation.
Ned Leeds is Peter’s best friend in the MCU. A potential Hobgoblin as well.
The company’s name is the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (W.E.B.).
I told you!
In the comics, Finesse (Jeanne Foucault) is the biological daughter of Taskmaster, she inherited his photographic reflexes, allowing her to mimic any fighting style at the cost of long- and short-term memory. Finesse is introduced as a member of the Avengers Academy and later joining A.I.M. and G.I.R.L. as a bodyguard.
Looks like he’s going to be a villain after all.
No surprise there.
Doctor Octopus is on the way.
Peter’s father is alive, shocking twist.
What’s also interesting is that Josh Keaton voices Richard Parker. He previously voiced Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man animated series.
There you have it, folks!
It was great, excelsior!
