You can’t have an Assassin’s Creed game without the iconic white-and-red hooded outfit with the eagle beak-motif hood.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows opt for the path where you play new characters in a historical setting, with both of them eventually discovering the Assassin and Templar war against one another throughout the course of their vengeance-and-atonement storylines. As such, main character Naoe, an actual shinobi, will end up inheriting the outfit.

Here’s how you can get it. This equipment is obtainable deep in the storyline, so here are the obligatory spoiler warnings before you venture right in.

All you have to do is progress through the story and unlock Naoe’s story journey quest Wolves & Foxes. It’s the quest where you meet historical figures Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hattori Hanzo. The latter will give you a quest to explore a location called the Tomb of the Ancient.

Head there once you’re prompted to; it’s at the Old Kofun in Izumi Coast in Izumi-Settsu.

The cave itself has a bunch of platforming and multi-rope swinging segments, and it’s pretty dark; Yasuke dark. Once you’re done with the underground obstacle courses, you’ll eventually reach the Assassin’s room.

After you’ve checked out the main room, head to the alcove with the Assassin’s gear dressed onto a mannequin. Take the outfit; it’s rightfully yours.
