Assassin’s Creed Shadows New Brazilian Ad Pays Homage To Tokusatsu
Days before Assassin’s Creed Shadows comes out for PC and consoles this week (after numerous delays), we get an official advertisement of the game in the form of a fake tokusatsu show?
In the latest PR buzz from Ubisoft’s Brazillian YouTube page, we get a 1 minute and 18 second video of an 80s-style video where Yasuke and Naoe are mild-mannered civilians who can transform into a samurai/shinobi duo fighting enemies tokusatsu style. It’s got it all: split-screen intros to our heroes, explosions, flying stuntmen doing jump attacks onto hapless foes from below, cheesy-ass 80s TV show logo.
The best part about all this is the narration is provided by the same voice actor who provided the final narration for Brazillian/Portugese dubs of Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho back in the late 90s.
Check out the crazy ad below:
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be out for PC and consoles on 20th March 2025. Stay tuned for our review later tomorrow early morning.
