Keiji Inafune Left Level-5 Mid-2024, Then Let Level-5 Take Over His Comcept Operations

The ex-MegaMan and Capcom boss Keiji Inafune, after working for quite a while in Level-5 under Comcept, has apparently left half a year ago.

Inafune left Level-5 in mid-2024 according to a recent blog post from the company. Furthermore, Level-5’s Osaka Office will take over all operations from Level-5 Comcept, the studio that was led by Inafune after Level-5 bought Inafune’s Comcept back in July 2017. As such, development work on Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has been transferred over.

The game is still coming out; it’s just going through restructuring following Inafune’s departure mid-2024. You can read more about it on the official blog.
