One Piece Kicks Off A Collab With Bundesliga Giants

After dribbling its way into partnerships with the NBA and MLB, One Piece has now set its sights on the football pitch, announcing a collaboration with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. And as if this crossover wasn’t bizarre enough, Chopper and Dortmund’s bee-themed mascot, EMMA, will take a stroll together as part of a special walking act—because when you think of football, you think of a talking reindeer and a giant bumblebee.

This latest tie-in was revealed at AnimeJapan 2025, where One Piece cast members were in attendance. It joins an ever-growing lineup of brand collaborations, including the LEGO x One Piece set announced earlier this year and February’s Game Night with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Meanwhile, the anime is gearing up to return from its production break, with Egghead Island Part 2 set to air on 6 April 2025. The One Piece empire is also thriving outside of TV screens—Bandai’s One Piece Card Game continues to sell like hotcakes, while the mobile game One Piece Bounty Rush has sailed past 150 million downloads since August 2024. And if that wasn’t enough, even more collaborations are on the horizon with POP MART, Moose Toys, and a growing list of brands looking to jump aboard the One Piece hype train.
