Riot Games Southeast Asia is celebrating the Ramadan month and upcoming Hari Raya celebrations with a series of activities to delight players and fans in Indonesia and Malaysia during the festive period, as well as to support underserved communities in Indonesia.
These include exciting tournaments for Wild Rift and Valorant to localized partnerships with ChandriaLiow, MTAS Studio, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Indonesia Patisserie school.
For starters, Riot Games is supporting Kempen CollabAsia Berkah Esports, which is an esports initiative that aims to spread festive cheer with Indonesian players and give them a platform to showcase their skills. The Berkah Esports competition consisted of two tournaments over three days where Indonesian Wild Rift and Valorant players competed for the prize money of IDR7 million for each winner in each match.
Fans can also watch Valorant matches on the SCRIMID YouTube channel and stand the chance to win exclusive merchandise from Riot Games. The company is also taking this opportunity to help underprivileged communities in Indonesia by sponsoring food packages via this esports initiative. For each team that registered, Riot Games will sponsor a food package to be sent to the underprivileged throughout the month of Ramadan. Over 208 food packages have been sponsored to date.
