Doom Patrol Season 3 Introduces The Brotherhood Of Evil This September
By Alleef Ashaari|August 10, 2021|0 Comment
After renewing Doom Patrol for a third season last year, HBO Max has finally announced that Doom Patrol Season 3 will premiere on 23 September 2021.
The synopsis for Doom Patrol Season 3 reads:
Season three opens on the culmination of Dorothy’s (Abigail Shapiro) confrontation with the Candlemaker that leads to a devastating loss.
The Doom Patrol is at a difficult crossroads and each member struggles to face who they are and who they want to be.
And things get a whole lot more complicated when Madame Rouge (Michelle Gomez) arrives in a time machine with a very specific mission, if only she could remember it.
Doom Patrol, based on the DC Comics group of characters of the same name, stars a misfit group of heroes comprising Robotman, Negative Man, Crazy Jane, Elasti-Woman, and Cyborg. It stars Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor aka Negative Man, Diane Guerrero as Jane aka Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman and Joivan Wade as Victor Stone aka Cyborg.
What’s interesting for fans of DC Comics is that this season will finally introduce the Brotherhood Of Evil, which is one of the main arch-nemesis of Doom Patrol and the Teen Titans. Perhaps we’ll see a crossover between Titans and Doom Patrol in the near future? Fingers crossed.
In the comics, the Brotherhood Of Evil was founded by the Brain and his partner, the talking French gorilla with a machine gun named Monsieur Mallah. They consisted of many other villains as well, including Madame Rouge. This will be their live-action debut, but they’ve appeared in animation before; most notably in the 2003 Teen Titans animated series.
