Project Magnum Is A Looter Shooter That Reminds Us Of Vanquish; That’s A Good Thing

Nexon subsidiary NAT GAMES is hard at work developing a new looter shooter game for the PS5, PS4, and PC.
It’s called Project Magnum and it’s a game that combines RPG gameplay with third-person shooter combat. It also seems to star a protagonist who looks like a carbon copy of Nero from Devil May Cry, but without the demon bits on him. Oh, and grappling hooks; lots of climbing and traversing with grappling hooks to go with the over-the-top shooting and explosion-making.
Here’s the official description:
PROJECT MAGNUM is a PC/console-based game that combines RPG play with third-person shooter combat. It presents beautiful visuals and attractive and unique characters based in a sci-fi style player vs. environment worldview. It also provides exciting battles using various skills, actions, and guns, as well as the fun of high quality PvE shooter battles that target huge bosses.
Honestly? It’s looking more and more like Vanquish and Lost Planet’s bastard child. Check out the bombastic gameplay trailer below.
I’m hankering for more looter shooter games that look and plays like that PlatinumGames classic; let’s hope to see more actual gameplay later down the line. Project Magnum has no release date as of yet.
