DC FanDome: The Flash Season 8 Unveils New Costume With Gold Boots
The Flash Season 8 revealed the upcoming new costume for Barry Allen AKA The Flash. This will be his most comics-accurate costume yet, with the character’s signature gold boots finally being added to the suit.
During FanDome, The Flash actor Grant Gustin said:
“The boots were the final element that’s been missing. I’ve loved all the versions of The Flash suit we’ve had on the show, but the suit we have now is the closest to the many iterations you see in the comic books — with the exception of those gold boots! I’ve always felt that those boots would be the final touch.”
The Flash Season 8 will premiere on 16 November 2021 with a five-part crossover called Armageddon. It will also boast appearances from Supergirl‘s Chyler Leigh as Sentinel, Arrow‘s Kat McNamara as Mia Smoak, Legends of Tomorrow‘s Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, The Flash‘s Tom Cavanagh as Reverse Flash, and Osric Chau as The Atom Ryan Choi.
