Here’s Your First Look At The Arknights Anime

Yostar’s animation studio division -yes, that is a thing- has uploaded a preview of its anime adaptation of Yostar’s hit strategy tower defense furry-filled game Arknights.

The show is called is Arknights: Prelude to Dawn and features 43 seconds of human-animal anime hybrids in modern combat situations. The anime will adapt the first few chapters of the game’s main story campaign “Evil Time”, “Separated Hearts”, and “Stinging Shock”. Characters in the trailer include Amiya (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), Dobermann, Hawk, Medic, Ace, Mephistopheles, and Crownslayer.

It all looks promising, especially if you’re a fan of anime and gun-toting waifus. We do wonder if they’re preserve the chastising of Jessica like in the game’s tutorials and story bits. Trailer’s below:

Arknights: Prelude to Dawn is still in production with no broadcast window announced as of this writing. The mobile game is out now, while a spin-off title called Arknights: Endfield will be out for PC and mobile devices is still in development.
