Dying Light 2 New Game Plus To Add New Infected & More Later This Week
By Alleef Ashaari|April 26, 2022|0 Comment
After teasing Dying Light 2 New Game Plus earlier this month, developer Techland has finally revealed more details about the upcoming mode in the open-world zombie game.
Update 1.3.0 is coming to Dying Light 2 on 27 April 2022, addressing myriad co-op issues and delivering completely new endgame content eagerly awaited by the community. Dying Light 2 New Game Plus will be available to every player that has finished the base game and allows survivors to revisit The City, relive the story, and make different narrative decisions, with new scaling, higher difficulty, and great bonuses.
In New Game Plus, players will keep the character progression of their initial adventure, but there will be new content like 30 new Inhibitors. Enemies will scale to Aiden’s level, but for those seeking more a challenging skirmish, Techland has prepared encounters with golden marks. There will also be new quests, like the “Something Big Has Been Here” quest.
Many of these new encounters will reward players with greater “Legendary” weapon rarity and valuable items. But for those who prefer to collect titles over the prizes, Techland added a new platinum medal for parkour challenges, with goal times based on the community’s best results.
However, players will have to collect the nightrunner tools all over again by replaying through the story, such as Aiden’s binoculars, paraglider, and UV flashlight. For more on Dying Light 2, check out our review and video walkthroughs.
