New Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Gameplay Trailer Showcases Gameplay & Release Date
By Jonathan ToyadVerified|June 1, 2022|0 Comment
Nintendo and The Pokémon Company just dropped its new trailer for its upcoming monster-filled RPG Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, and it features a ton of gameplay.
Does it look any different from Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield? That’s debatable, but it’s still cartoony as ever and the new starter Pokemon -Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly- are adorable and potent to deal with. The battles are still turn-based and you probably still have to fight a ton of Gym Leaders and their Pokémon team to advance the “plot”. This entry is now open world and vast, with ton of environments to explore from grassy places to snowy fields.
This Pokemon entry also features four-player multiplayer, and features the usual staples such as trading and battling Pokemon, as well as explore the region together with other players.
Plus, the game has two different Professors depending on the version you choose to play. Professor Sada (the lady) is in Scarlet while Professor Turo (the male) is in Violet.
You also have a friend/rival named Nemona, a powerful Pokemon trainer who serves a reliable guide for you in your adventures.
We also get our first look at Scarlet and Violet’s legendary Pokémon: Koraidon and Miraidon. Yes, the Violet Legendary Pokémon Miraidon has jet thrusters for legs.
Check out the gameplay below. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be out on 18 November, 2022 for Nintendo Switch. This new Pokemon pair of titles will be joining Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3 as 2022’s pack of gaming heavy hitters courtesy of Nintendo.
