The Elder Scrolls Online Simplified Chinese Language Support Coming Later This Year
The Elder Scrolls Online publisher Zenimax posted to their Twitter recently that Simplified Chinese Language support will be added in-game later this year, featuring full text, subtitles, and UI translations.
In the video attached, President and Game Director Matt Firor stated that with their ever-expanding community and growth this year upon the recently released High Isle chapter, they are delighted to deliver this addition to the community for a more immersive game-play for their Chinese-speaking players.

Zenimax has also responded to a tweet asking whether it will be on the same client or will it be on a separate one like their Japanese language support, in which they answered; “yes, it will be on the same client”.
Will the language be in the same client or like the japanese one which is separate?

The news has made the community speculate whether Zenimax will run an Asia server sometime in the future. The question has been brought up each year though no comments from Zenimax’s side on the matter.
