By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|July 18, 2022|1 Comment
PUBG Mobile has announced their rendition of the ever-popular virtual concerts with none other than the Kpop idol group, BLACKPINK set to perform on 23 July.
It seems that mobile games are all picking up on the craze that is virtual concerts. Garena Free Fire recently announced their collaboration with Justin Bieber to hold their own virtual concert and in that person, I mentioned that we can expect more collaborations like this in the future. And here we are.
This isn’t the first time the mobile battle royale has collaborated with BLACKPINK as they previously did so back in 2020 when they introduced BLACKPINK-inspired cosmetics. This time around, PUBG Mobile will be holding their first ever virtual concert aptly named “The Virtual”.
If you’re in Malaysia, Fight Esports is hosting a watch party in celebration of this event at Petaling Jaya Performance Arts Centre. BLACKPINK and Kpop fans alike can gather for a day of fun activities, exciting performances, and prizes up for grabs.
The people over at Fight Esports also mentioned that there will also be an exclusive surprise reveal during the watch party. So if you don’t want to miss out then feel free to swing by the event, all the details are listed below.
Date: 23 July
Time: Doors open at 11:00 AM and the in-game concert will begin at 1:00 PM (GMT+8)
Venue: Petaling Jaya Performance Arts Centre, 1 Utama
