After much back-and-forth, Halo Infinite’s most-requested features finally have release dates.

Halo Infinite’s Forge mode and online campaign co-op mode will be out on 9th November, almost a year after the release of the game in 2021. Unfortunately, the game’s split-screen co-op has been cancelled. Sad news for couch co-op gamers and a good number of legacy players from the days of the original Halo on the original Xbox. Full statement below:

“In order to improve and accelerate ongoing live service development, and to better address player feedback and quality of life updates, we have reallocated studio resources and are no longer working on local campaign split-screen co-op.”

Here’s the full Fall/Winter roadmap, which details the Winter Update and also Season 3 with its battle pass and new weapons: the M392 Bandit and Shroud Screen equipment.

The Winter Update will include the Match XP beta, allowing players to level up alongside the 30-level battle pass, as well as a new mode called Covert One Flag featuring asymmetrical loadouts and round-based gameplay.
