Skullgirls Gets Webtoon Series This November

Skullgirls, the 2D fighting game from Hidden Variable Studios that’s a cult favourite and also started the path to championship fighting game dominance for SonicFox, is getting animated.

The long-time Western-made 2D fighting game will have its own webtoon, launching next Friday on 18 November. The webtoon will feature stories from the Skullgirls universe ranging from the main fighters (like Parasoul and Ms. Fortune) to even the side characters. Starting on 18 November, there will be a new chapter available every week.

No viewing platform has been announced yet, so just keep an eye on the Skullgirls Twitter page and YouTube page if you wish to see any updates for the webtoon series. The series was announced back in 2019; not much has been heard about its progress up until now.
