Call Of Duty League Will Stream Exclusively On Twitch
By Lewis Larcombe|December 2, 2022|0 Comment
With the Call of Duty League’s opening weekend only hours away, it’s finally been confirmed that the league will no longer be streamed on YouTube and will now exclusively stream on Twitch.
The Call of Duty League (CDL) sees 12 of the best teams in Call of Duty set to battle it out in the Major 1 qualifiers ahead of the LAN launch event in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Since the league’s inauguration, matches had been exclusively streamed on YouTube. It was assumed that the partnership would continue into this season but we couldn’t be more wrong as it was announced on Twitter today that the CDL has now moved over to Twitch.

So 2023 CDL matches will now be available to watch on Twitch and the official Call of Duty League website. The lack of mention of YouTube indicates that the platform will no longer be a streaming location for the CDL season.
Rumours around the scene knew that YouTube’s deal with the CDL was coming to a close in January 2023 but no one really knew if the league was going to stay with YouTube or move over to Twitch. So this announcement seemingly comes out of nowhere. The CDL also released an official blog post with all the additional details of when and where to watch.
However, the CDL or Twitch are yet to comment further on the move and what type of deal has been made between the two organizations moving forward.
