XCOM-style Sandbox Xenonauts 2 Ready For Release Next Month

The reimagining to Hooded Horse’s XCOM-style sandbox strategy game, Xenonauts, is being released into early access next month and is available to be added to your wishlist on Steam now. If you are a fan of XCOM-style or real-time strategy games, the gameplay should be right up your alley as it takes familiar mechanics and adds its own twist to it.

The game throws you into a dystopian world based in 2009, during the Cold War era, where an alien invasion occurs, and you are leading the main resistance against the invasion. Instead of a direct sequel, they aim for the game to be a re-imagining of the original game, with refined mechanics.

The early access release version will also be translated into a bunch of languages, which will allow for more players to enjoy the game! Xenonauts 2 will be released into early access on the 18th of July on the official Steam Page and the trailer can be seen below!
