Level Infinite Announced New Command & Conquer Game; Open For Pre-Registration
By Ali'sha HarrisVerified|August 22, 2023|0 Comment
Level Infinite has announced a new mobile strategy game based on the Command & Conquer (C&C) universe via a licensing agreement with IP owner Electronic Arts.
Command & Conquer: Legions will showcase iconic heroes and villains, factions and a wide range of units from the C&C series in a brand-new storyline and gameplay experience. Players will have the opportunity to engage in real-time PVE and PVP battles against other factions collecting Tiberium, a powerful material brought to Earth that can either be used for technological advancement or to wreak havoc on opponents.
Moreover, players can coordinate attacks with their allies, share resources, and strategize to outwit their enemies on a large map shared with other commanders worldwide. Send units to capture strategic locations, accumulate Tiberium spikes, and claim precious resources. Using outposts, players are able to expand their reach, build bases, develop advanced technologies, and conquer cities and regions to win.
In a press release, Level Infinite’s senior director, Anthony Crouts, said:
“Legions is being created with both mobile platforms and mobile gamers in mind, matching the way people play on their devices with shorter, faster sessions and streamlined controls. The mobile strategy gameplay of Legions provides a new type of experience while presenting familiar units, heroes and aspects of previous C&C games.”
A Closed Beta Test for the upcoming mobile strategy game will take place later this August in Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand, and the Philippines. Fans can now pre-register for the Closed Beta Test at the game’s official website.
Although there is no specific release date yet, the global launch for Android and iOS devices is expected to take place later this 2023.
