Castlevania: Nocturne’s New Trailer Features A Potty-Mouthed Maria Renard

Netflix just released a new trailer of its upcoming Castlevania anime follow-up, Castlevania: Nocturne. It follows the tale of the next in the Belmont monster-hunting clan, Richter. And yes, he’s the one in Rondo of Blood and in Symphony of the Night games.
The show takes place in France, and has Richter and his new vampire hunter kid assistant Maria Renard (with a bit more sass than her past kid counterpart) hunting down vampires and their current leader The Messiah. The trailer also comes with the show’s version of Richter’s theme “Divine Bloodline”, and it sounds just as awesome as it did back in the day.
If you want to hear the original 1993 track, check it out below. It’s amazing how long this theme has been around and with good reason; it’s a helluva way to start a first stage of your new mainstream Castlevania game in Japan.
Castlevania: Nocturne will be out on Netflix this 28 September, with a digital world premiere slated a couple of hours earlier via Netflix’s Twitch page.
