Honkai Star Rail Jingliu Guide: The Best Build For The Ice Sword Champion

After all the teasers exciting us fans, our Ice Queen Jingliu is here, and she’s been worth the wait.

Here’s a quick guide on how to utilize her to the fullest.

LET IT GO

A lady blindfolded 24/7? Damn. Jingliu used to be Jing Yuan’s master. Yes, that’s right. Not surprising that these two hotties have worked together. She eventually succumbed to mara and went well… a little insane (Just like all the other girlies, welcome to the club!) causing her to go on a rampage. This rampage continued until she was finally defeated by her student Jing Yuan. Following this, she left Xianzhou.

Jingliu was part of what is known as the High Cloud Quintet, and was the guiding force of five incredibly strong warriors: Jing Yuan, Imbibitor Lunae, Blade, and another Foxian female, Baifeng, a Starskiff pilot who was also a famous author. Most importantly, Jingliu was a sword master, and the Sword Champion of the Xianzhou Cangcheng Flagship.

TALENT BREAKDOWN

When Jingliu uses an attack in the Spectral Transmigration state, she consumes HP from all other allies equal to 4% of their respective Max HP (this cannot reduce allies’ HP to lower than 1). Jingliu’s ATK increases by 540% of the total HP consumed from all allies in this attack, capped at 90% of her base ATK, lasting until the current attack ends.

Jingliu cannot enter the Spectral Transmigration state again until the current one ends. Syzygy can stack up to 3 times. When Syzygy stacks become 0, Jingliu will exit the Spectral Transmigration state.

After entering combat with enemies in the dimension, Jingliu. immediately regenerates 15. Energy and obtains 1 stack(s) of Syzygy, with a 100% base chance of Freezing enemy targets for 1 turn(s). THE BEST LIGHT CONE FOR JINGLIU

Jingliu has the ability to complement other Destruction characters, like Blade, by consuming the HP of other team members. Her diverse light cone options can be slightly influenced by team compositions, but her ATK-based damage scaling allows her to access a wider range of light cone choices from different rarity levels in Honkai: Star Rail which is great because some of us struggle with having some big rare ass cones.

I Shall Be My Own Sword is explicitly crafted as Jingliu’s signature light cone, and it is no surprise that it stands as the optimal choice for her. it is even more of a + if you just managed to roll Fu Xuan. The dynamic of having these two with this light cone is great as it helps her to gain stacks more easily. She does not just profit from the crit damage, but the other aspects make her so much better.

For us poor folks out there, don’t worry, I’ve got you! Collapsing Sky is a great 3 Star option. This is simply because her primary DPS output is derived from her Skill.

The Moles Welcome You, is a very straightforward pick for her especially if you aim to boost her ATK value.

THE BEST RELICS FOR JINGLIU

SIMPLE: ICE. ICE. BABY.

Hunter of Glacial Forest 4-PC : After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their CRIT DMG increases by 25% for 2 turn(s).

For ornaments,

Rutilant Arena is a MUST as most of the DMG she deals comes from her Enhanced Skill. The 70% CRIT Rate requirement is easy to reach thanks to her Talent’s massive CRIT Rate buff.
