Baldur’s Gate 3 Wins Big At Golden Joystick Awards; Doesn’t Have Enough Hands For All Of Them

This year’s Golden Joystick Awards was dominated by computer RPG title Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios.

The D&D RPG, which was reviewed positively on Kakuchopurei, won the following awards at the London-based event.

  • Best Storytelling
  • Best Visual Design
  • Best Game Community
  • PC Game of the Year
  • Ultimate Game of the Year
  • Studio of the Year

All six awards were received by Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke, which led to this photo where he barely holds onto them properly.

Other awards that are Baldur’s Gate 3-related include Best Supporting Performer award, which was won by Astarion voice actor Neal Newbon.

  • Best Audio: Final Fantasy 16
  • Best Lead Performer: Ben Starr for Clive in Final Fantasy 16
  • Critic’s Choice Award: Alan Wake 2
  • Best Expansion: Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
  • Best Xbox Game: Starfield
  • Best PlayStation Game: Resident Evil 4 (what)
  • Best Gaming Hardware: PSVR2
