Palworld: Rayne Syndicate’s Tower Boss Guide
By Xandria Morden|January 22, 2024|1 Comment
Alrighty, Palworld has got some bosses, but I’ll get you prepared for the first one. The Rayne Syndicate Tower battle came as a shock to me. Literally… You’ll fight Grizzbolt, the big bad electric pal. It can be a bit hard and overwhelming if you go in unprepared, so don’t worry, I’ll walk you through it.
The tower isn’t that far from where you start! It is only northwest of the beginner’s plateau. Be sure to take the fast travel point so you can go back and forth whenever you need.
WARNING: Once you approach the tower, you will start getting raids back at your base. Be sure your base is prepped for attacks before heading there. Don’t worry too much about the raids, they are quite easy to deal with!
Grizzbolt is huge and honestly kinda scary. His long range attacks are pretty easy to deal with and dodge as you can use the pillars around the arena. The big boom damage only gets painful when he gets up close. This is why I would recommend to keep your distance as much as you can and bring a long range weapon. I highly recommend the three-shot bow.
As much as I’d love to say, just go in bows/guns ablazing, you still need a strategy and you still need to pick the right pals for the job. If you’ve unlocked Daedream’s collar technology, I’d HIGHLY recommend putting them in your party. This is because the tech allows you to have two pals out at once, including Daedream of course.
Eikthyrdeer is honestly one of the best pals to bring in. This deer tanks like a truck and also does A TON of damage, which you will honestly need. My personal favourite for this fight will probably be Foxsparks. Not just because this pal is adorable asf, but man they do so much! Foxsparks can be turned into a little flamethrowing pal which applies burn and the dots you get on Grizzbolt really helps to shred his HP down. If you don’t have a fire type pal, consider bringing a fire bow in to just apply burn!
Playing chicken around the pillars is your best bet while shooting some shots in when you can. Always keep an eye out on your pals HP as well. Don’t let them faint! 🙁 I’d also recommend having an armor and headpiece on, and most importantly a shield! These will all help with your survivability in the fight. With that, I believe you’re all ready to get into that boss fight! If you’ve got any other tips for this boss fight in particular, do let us know!
