Stellar Blade Best Skills, Guide & Tips: How To Be The Best EVE
By Alleef Ashaari|April 25, 2024|0 Comment
Stellar Blade is the next big PS5 exclusive and it’s now available on PlayStation 5. While it is Korean developer SHIFT UP’s first console title, the hack-and-slash title puts players in control of the stylish heroine Eve, as she takes on the Naytibas, a force ravaging Earth while surviving humans escape to an outer space colony. Battle through this semi-open world on your way to EVE’s next objective, or leave the beaten track to tackle side quests, scavenge items, and uncover more of the intriguing secrets behind Earth’s downfall.
Check out our full review of the game by heading over here.
Here are some crucial tips and tricks to know before you start Stellar Blade:
First, turn on Auto Loot. This is turned off by default. If you don’t turn this on, you’ll have to pick up each item manually by pressing R2 each time. There’s no reason for you not to turn on Auto Loot, as it also makes it easier for you to not miss out on any loot as you’ll automatically pick them up.
The cans in Stellar Blade are optional collectibles, but collecting them will add certain perks and bonuses after you’ve collected a certain amount.
Collecting all 49 cans in the game will even unlock a special Nano Suit for EVE.
There’s a way to make collecting the cans easier, by unlocking a specific upgrade for your drone. Unfortunately, it requires quite a few Drone Upgrade Modules, and it’s not working as it should. The upgrade describes a unique sound coming out of your drone if you scan and there’s a can in the area, but the sound isn’t distinctive or loud enough to make much of a difference.
So that you don’t miss out on anything in the area, especially cans or chests or any other rare collectible.
Ambush, one skill point – To get started on stealth.
Beta Energy Recharge, one skill point – This makes it easier and faster for you to use Beta Skills, the special attacks.
Focus Boost, two skill points – Most crucial skill in the game because it makes it easier to execute Perfect Parry, which is essential when fighting against bosses, especially in the late game.
Perfect Dodge, one skill point – Besides Perfect Parry, Perfect Dodge is also crucial for boss fights.
Reflection, one skill point – This improves Perfect Dodge by adding an immediate possible follow-up counterattack.
Reflex Boost, two skill points – Makes it easier to use Perfect Dodge.
It’s easy to forget this but you can reset skills at any point (using an item), so there’s no need to be too calculative when unlocking new skills.
