By Alisha Alix|May 3, 2024|0 Comment
The producer of the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has assured that the game will not only be released digitally but also physically.
This remaster of the cult classic hack-and-slash game was previously scheduled for release in 2023, but was later pushed back to 2024. Despite the delay, fans have received regular updates from Yoshimi Yasuda, the producer at Dragami Games. Yasuda has provided information about the progress being made on Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, including clarifying that the game will not be limited to a digital-only release but will also be available in physical form.

Although no further details were given, this is a positive development for fans who have awaited the next physical release of the game.
Lollipop Chainsaw was first released in 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game revolves around Juliet Starling, a cheerleader turned zombie hunter who battles the undead in a fictional California high school. Lollipop Chainsaw was a collaboration between game designer Suda51 and filmmaker James Gunn, best known for his work on the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker.
Currently, no definitive platforms have been announced for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. However, taking into account that the game initially launched on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it is logical to assume that this remaster will be released on current-generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
