SEGA Announces Sonic Rumble, A Fall Guys-Like Multiplayer Mobile Game
By Alleef AshaariVerified|May 9, 2024|0 Comment
SEGA has announced Sonic Rumble, which is described as a “multiplayer action game” for “up to 32 players”. It will launch for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android sometime in winter 2024.
The game is being developed in collaboration with Angry Birds developer Rovio.
From the trailer, it sounds and looks a lot like Mediatonic’s Fall Guys game, which was a breakout hit back in 2020.
In Sonic Rumble, players will take control of toy figures to compete in thrilling 32-player battle royale challenges, racing against each other to collect the most rings and prove themselves to be the fastest in the toybox. With iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe available for customization, players can create their own unique avatars and dive into the action-packed gameplay.
No other details or information is available about the game so far, but you can sign up for a closed beta test (which will take place from 24 May to 26 May 2024) on the official website (which is currently only open to those living in the US).
