Developer Frost Giant Studios’ upcoming PC strategy game Stormgate is coming out soon in a month, but through special means.

During a reveal of the game on the PC Gaming Show 2024, the developers mentioned that the game will be accessible on 30 July onward with all of the game’s three factions playable: the human Vanguard, the Infernal Host, and Celestials. Basically the game’s version of Terrans, Zergs, and Protoss but in a different IP. The catch? You’ll have to pay for the Early Access pack. 

The Stormgate Early Access Pack will cost RM89, while the Deluxe Early Acceess Pack will cost RM145. The Ultimate version will cost RM215. The packs will let you gain early access to the game from 30 July onward along with in-game Heroes, Campaign chapters, and cosmetic rewards:

• Amara – Vanguard Hero
  Amara (aka Dagger Four) has dedicated her life to hunting down the Infernal demons who took everything from her. She’s laser-focused on the job at hand–killing demons–and she’s damn good at her job.
• Maloc – Infernal Hero
  Voiced by the inimitable warchief, Chris Metzen, Maloc is an Infernal Hero who uses his fiery magic to great effect. His upgraded Magmadons–the Mortardons–wreak havoc on friend and foe alike, while his massive Fire Giants put lowly Brute units to shame.
• Auralanna – Celestial Hero
  Auralanna is an idealistic protector committed to defending those in need. Don’t mistake her gentle spirit for weakness.
• Vanguard Campaign – Chapter 1 Missions
  These three missions take place following the free prologue and are your ticket to learning more about Stormgate’s universe from the perspective of the Human Vanguard. These missions are playable solo and, in the future, will be playable cooperatively as well. Please note: all Campaign missions will continue to be updated during Early Access.
• Vanguard Campaign – Chapter 2 & 3 Missions
  Take your campaign experience even further with all three chapters of Human Vanguard missions! Featuring three (or more) missions per chapter, these missions will be playable solo when they are released, with co-op support added in the future. As with Chapter 1, Frost Giant Studios intends to update and polish each Campaign mission throughout the Early Access period.
• Gold Vanguard Army Accent
  Add a little extra bling to your Vanguard uniforms with this special golden accent.
• Chicken Supporter Pet
  Welcoming this feisty feathered pal to your base is a great way to show your support for the Frost Giant team!
• Firestorm Fog of War Shader
  When the Infernal invasion decimated nearly all life on Earth, survivors described it as “a world ablaze.” Please note that this fiery cosmetic option provides no tactical benefit to either player.

The Vanguard Campaign Chapters 2 and 3 will be coming soon following the game’s early access release. If you rather wait, players can jump into the game for free on 13 August; at least the online PvP version of the game.

Stormgate will be out via Early Access starting 30 July.
