EA SPORTS FC 25 Ultimate Edition Cover Athletes Unveiled

Electronic Arts (EA) has revealed the cover athletes for the Ultimate Edition of EA SPORTS FC 25. Taking centre stage is Jude Bellingham, the prodigious talent from Real Madrid, flanked by legends such as Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, and Gianluigi Buffon. Representing the women’s game with pride is Aitana Bonmati.

The announcement, made with much fanfare on Twitter, positions these icons amidst a glittering array of trophies. Bellingham featured prominently, underscores his role as the cover star for the standard edition of EA SPORTS FC 25, a notable accolade for one of football’s rising stars.

In the previous edition, EA SPORTS FC 24, Erling Haaland of Manchester City graced the standard cover, while the Ultimate Edition showcased a diverse ensemble of 31 international players, with Haaland as the focal point.

This year’s revelation came with a twist, courtesy of insider Leandesign, who first hinted at Bellingham’s starring role. Insider Gaming swiftly corroborated, detailing the inclusion of both current and past greats on the Ultimate Edition cover, now confirmed by EA’s official release.

Expectations are high for EA SPORTS FC 25, especially the Ultimate Edition, renowned for its array of exclusive perks. From digital goodies to additional athletes in the Ultimate Team mode and, crucially, early access—a week ahead of the official release for those who pre-order, as per Dealabs. The game is set to hit the shelves on 27 September, spanning both current and last-gen platforms.

This release marks the second instalment in EA’s rebranded football series post-FIFA partnership. After the farewell to FIFA with FIFA 23, the series emerged anew as EA SPORTS FC. Meanwhile, FIFA has teased a new chapter in its own saga, hinting at a forthcoming title, not under the EA banner.

As the gaming world eagerly awaits, EA has promised a grand unveiling of EA SPORTS FC 25 on YouTube on 17 July. This much-anticipated trailer is likely to confirm the speculated release date and offer a tantalising glimpse into the gameplay and features.

Stay tuned for the full reveal and keep your eyes peeled for more updates in the world of gaming and pop culture.
