ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia today announced the pricing and pre-order promotions for its all-new AMD Strix Point gaming laptops. The critically acclaimed Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop and the ASUS TUF Gaming A14 laptop are built with a new ultraportable chassis design, both now featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 processor.
With a built-in NPU for AI-accelerated tasks and a dedicated NVIDIA GPU, these latest AMD gaming laptops stand ready for any scenario, from gaming to productivity and more — all in an ultra-sleek thin-and-light package.
We’re entering a new era of computing, with artificial intelligence at its centre — and ROG is charging ahead with the new Zephyrus G16, now a true AI PC thanks to its AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 processor. With 12 cores, 24 threads, a built-in AMD Ryzen AI XDNA 2 NPU capable of 50 TOPS of AI performance, along with 31 TOPS from the CPU and its integrated Radeon™ 800M graphics, the new Zephyrus G16 stands ready for enhancing productivity in AI-enabled applications, including powerful Windows Copilot tools.
The 2024 Zephyrus G16 also comes with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, itself capable of up to 321 TOPS of AI performance at its maximum TGP of 105 watts. Photo and video editing, image generation, and coding have never been easier, while gaming features like DLSS 3 super-resolution, which uses AI to create additional high-quality frames and improve image quality, perform excellently in the latest titles. For gamers, creators, or engineers, the combined 402 TOPs of local AI processing power available in the G16 will change the way they work and play, enabling multiple AI applications to run simultaneously.
This powerful hardware is supported by ROG Intelligent Cooling, including liquid metal on the CPU and a new fiber-and-mesh heat-pipe system with a tri-fan design featuring our second-generation Arc Flow Fans.
This new AMD platform is packed in the same thin-and-light design that made waves at CES 2024, with an exquisitely crafted CNC-milled aluminum chassis, with a customizable Slash Lighting array on the lid. It also features an ROG Nebula display with an OLED panel that supports NVIDIA G-SYNC. Its 16:10 aspect ratio, 2.5K resolution, and 240 Hz refresh rate are perfect for gaming and content creation alike, with VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 certification for excellent HDR experiences.
Inside, the ROG Zephyrus G16 comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory, along with support for the new SD Express 7.0 standard for ultrafast SD card performance. In addition, it’s the first ROG laptop to support WiFi 7, capable of higher speeds with less congestion when combined with a compatible router.
For the first time, ASUS now offers a 14-inch form factor in the TUF Gaming lineup. Built to be ultraportable and ultra-powerful, the new TUF Gaming A14 weighs only 1.46 kg, and measures 1.69 cm thick. Despite these dimensions, the A14 supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 4060 Laptop GPU with a 100 W maximum TGP — far higher than many of its competitors — for an exceptional gaming experience.
In addition, the TUF Gaming A14 comes with dual-channel LPDDR5 memory as well as two M.2 2280 SSD slots, so users can add storage in the second slot or upgrade for extreme amounts of storage in a 14-inch laptop. USB power delivery rounds out this portable powerhouse, for easy on-the-go charging with wide compatibility between devices thanks to USB-C.
ROG Zephyrus G16 (AMD) will be priced officially in Malaysia starting from RM11,499 and the ASUS TUF Gaming laptop A14 is priced at RM7,599. Both new laptops come with a pre-order promotion worth up to RM999 starting from 17th July to 31st July 2024. While stock last.
